Remember these tips when writing a step 6 action plan.
1. Elaborate
Writers should elaborate well beyond the initial idea presented in step 3 in the action plan. Include additional details on any relevant areas of the plan. All action plans benefit from describing more (rather than less) of how the plan will work and how it will be implemented.
2. Share ups and downs
No solution is perfect. Writers should discuss how the plan will be successful, as well as possible roadblocks or obstacles. If a solution is great but does not fit one of your criteria well, you have an opportunity to address that in your plan. This shows depth of thought and good problem-solving!
3. Focus on your best solution
Your action plan must focus on your top solution. If you have some great ideas in your other solutions, you may want to incorporate parts of these ideas. However, these need to be incorporated as support for your best solution. These additional elements from other ideas should not be the focus of the action plan.
